"Go Plus" for electronic traffic posters is considering converting to a holding company
Go Plus, which provides electronic car stickers that are required by the Ministry of Interior for licensing, is considering setting up a holding company to manage sticker production, Al Mal reports. The company’s board chairman, Hisham El-Sayed, explained that the agreement with the Ministry of Interior provides for the supply of 10 million stickers before the end of next June and the launch of a data center affiliated with the ministry, an electronic system for connectivity and gates to read the poster on the roads, at a cost of 720 million pounds over 5 years. Last year, the Ministry of Interior decided to obligate owners of cars of all kinds to put an electronic sticker worth 50 pounds when issuing a new vehicle license or renewing its license.
