The electronic traffic portal, affiliated to the Ministry of Interior, has developed a new service that allows citizens to book an appointment with electronic traffic units, in the context of facilitating citizens by automating a large number of government services to face crowds and queues in government departments and agencies, especially in light of the spread of viruses and epidemics.

 

Conditions for booking an appointment in electronic traffic units

According to the Egypt Traffic Gate, the terms of service for booking an appointment with electronic traffic units are as follows:

 

- A valid national ID card or a valid passport.

 

Payment is made by all types of credit cards, and there is no cash transaction.

 

- The service is provided for owners' vehicles or motorcycles less than 2030 cc.​

 

A valid clearance certificate is required.

 

Letters of lifting or renewing bank bans are accepted only for individuals, not companies. Letters of lifting or renewing bans issued by different companies are not accepted.

 

- Insured mechanized agencies are accepted only for one agent only from the owner, provided that the power of attorney has not passed 3 years from the date of its issuance.
