Online collection of compulsory car insurance fees
Today, a cooperation agreement was signed between "Cash Less Plus" - the Egyptian company specialized in banking and electronic payments services - and the Egyptian Group for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance and the Traffic Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Interior.
Under this cooperation, the system of collecting compulsory insurance documents on vehicles will be activated electronically, in addition to a contract for the collection of premiums with the Egyptian Compulsory Insurance Association, with the aim of achieving electronic linkage between the database of each of the General Administration of Traffic Information Systems and the group, and linking them to the company’s database. Cashless Plus, and under this contract, “Cash Less Plus” company provides an electronic collection service for the values of compulsory vehicle insurance policies in Egypt, for all vehicle licenses in all traffic units.
Under this cooperation, “Cash Less Plus” ensured the provision of correct and clearer data, so that the Group for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance reviews all insurance documents on a weekly basis, to improve the service and provide accurate databases for the dealing citizens, after modifying and developing the electronic system to facilitate the process of extracting all data related to documents from Through the website of Cashless Plus.
Hesham El-Sayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Cashless Plus", stated that the company is seeking, during the coming period, to collect the values of compulsory vehicle insurance policies through electronic payment machines.
He added that this system facilitates the process of searching for customer data, and enables the group to obtain the correct technical installments, as well as guarantees the state to obtain the taxes and fees owed by citizens in a proper manner.
He added that through this system, the Ministry of Interior activated the one-stop service within the traffic units, to facilitate the conduct of procedures and all transactions for citizens and to preserve their rights.
The signing ceremony of the contract was witnessed by the leaders of the Financial Supervisory Authority, led by His Excellency Counselor Reda Abdel Moati, Vice-President of the Authority, who is attributed an important and vital role in the completion of this project, as well as Mr. Alaa Al-Zuhairi, President of the Egyptian Insurance Federation, and the contract was signed by Ibrahim Labib, Director of the Majmaah. Al Majmaah CEO, and Mohamed Mahran, Chairman of the Administrative Committee, and on behalf of Cashless Plus, “Hesham El-Sayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Jasir El-Sayed Ibrahim, Managing Director.
